When worn, they are pressed inward by your belt which rotates the grip inward and reduces "printing", thereby enhancing concealment. Dark Wings are used on non-light bearing IWBA (Inside-the-waistband Appendix Carry) holsters. Light Wings are for light bearing holsters.
