One of the top selling recreational marine hydraulic cylinders for outboard powered boats from the leader in marine steering technology, SeaStar Solutions (formerly Teleflex Marine). The HC5370-3 Side Mount Outboard Steering Cylinder offers an alternative to a front mount cylinder. This unbalanced cylinder is 4.8/5.7 turns lock-to-lock and is for single and multiple outboard engine installations with total power to 600 HP in counter rotating application. The HC5370-3 meets ABYC and NMMA certification standards and is designed and manufactured in North America. It is also compatible with SeaStar Power Assist Pump (PA1200-2) which provides an automotive feel to driving your boat with fingertip control. This cylinder is ideal for center console fishing boats and cruisers containing single and multiple outboard engine installations with total power to 600 HP in twin counter rotating application. Not recommended for boats that exceed 75 MPH or run surface piercing props or the power exceeds the maximum Coast Guard rating for the vessel. Don't use this cylinder if the engine is highly elevated on the transom or if engine trim tabs have been removed. This cylinder is not to be used with SeaStar PRO helm pumps.
