The Edelbrock Performer Air-Gap Intake Manifold features the air-gap design for the ultimate street performance in the idle to 5, 500 RPM range. This manifold is dual-plane, low-rise intake manifolds with a 180 degree firing order and patented runner design that is not available in other brands. Torque and horse power are increased. The air-gap design features an open air space that separates the runners from the hot engine oil resulting in a cooler, denser charge for more power. The high-velocity runners deliver excellent throttle response throughout the power band.
