The Travelstar Z7K500 is the first 2.5-inch HDD with a SATA 6Gb/s interface and 32MB cache, and delivers peak performance at 7,200 RPM in PCMark Vantage tests. The Z7K500 carries the EcoTrac classification thanks to its low power consumption and environmentally friendly, halogen-free manufacturing. Data Security Options The Travelstar Z7K500 is HGST’s sixth generation Bulk Data Encryption (BDE) SED drive.
