PROXXON THERMOCUT 230/E Hot Wire Cutter

The Thermocut 230/E hot wire cutter from Proxxon is ideal for architects, designers, artists, prototype construction, insulation and, last but not least, classic model making. Sturdy body with 390 x 280 mm aluminium cobond composite work surface. With a surface structure that allows the workpiece to glide evenly. Printed grid and angle division make it easier to work practically. Solid aluminium bracket (350 mm projection and 140 mm height outlet). With saddle and wire spool (30 m cutting wire 0.2 mm is included). Mitre cuts are possible by moving the saddle. An LED power indicator prevents banished fingers because the cutting wire heats up to full temperature in less than 1 second. Note: The correct temperature (yes according to material and strength) is experienced by feeling and exercise. Optimal cutting pattern is achieved at medium temperature and moderate pressure.
